Berkeley County Horse Judging Teams
Announce Practices
The
Animal Science Horse Judging program will meet on December 18th, Noon at the Historic McFarland House in Martinsburg. This
group is led by Meghan Manor.
Cookie Lynch
will be meeting with anyone interested in Horse Judging on Sundays, beginning January 8th. The meetings and practices will
be held at Sulphur Springs Stables in Inwood at 2 PM. It
is not necessary to own a horse to participate in either group and both are open to all! Please contact the leaders with any

Panhandle Beekeepers Association Offers Scholarship Not only are honey bees decreasing in the United States, but
also the number of beekeepers. Each year the WVEPBA gives scholarships to two youths 12-17 years of age to prepare them to
become beekeepers. It is their objective to increase the ranks of young beekeepers in Berkeley, Jefferson
and Morgan counties. The average age of beekeepers is now 60 years of age and increasing.
